About Me

I am a Ph.D. student in the Human-Centered Data Science group at the University of Göttingen. My background is in mathematics and theoretical physics, which I currently apply to understand the interplay of language models with learnability and the typology of languages. I am excited about languages, emergence in complex systems, and bifurcation theory. In particular, I do research on:

  • How does typology affect the learnability of languages?
  • What are the mechanisms of curriculum learning?
  • How does language emerge from the interaction of learners?
